The Second City Sisters, a vibrant group of clown nuns in Chicago, is a queer organization of secular nuns dedicated to promoting universal joy and alleviating stigmatic guilt across the North, South, and West sides of the city and its surrounding communities. With our signature irreverent wit and parody, we strive to combat shame and exclusion for all individuals, with a special emphasis on the LGBTQ+ community. Our mission is guided by core values of activism for justice, community service, and self-expression, much like the spirit of the Sisters Perpetual Indulgence Chicago.
