Meet the Sisters!

 SiXter ParrraDee is a genderfuck nun! 

The X honors the gender nonconforming community and ParrraDee uses They/Them Pronouns. 

They became a sister in 2017 at the Indiana Crossroads Sisters Abbey of the Shimmering Silo. 

They hope to spread love and joy through music and glitter, particularly to those in the trans gender-nonconforming community. 

As a person of color, they do not use whiteface, but instead is (c)litterally pink!  

They write musical parodies about their adventures as a sister. 

 Sister Starr Gayzarr is all about making magic and spreading love. 

An admirer of the Sisters for years - she finally has joined in on the fun! 

This sister enjoys moving positive energy into other's lives and summoning the release of hurt and uncertainty. 

Born on the eve of a full moon - you can find this energy shifter pulling her tarot cards, absorbing the vibration of different crystals, and gazing at the moon, stars and the vast sky of possibilities. 

Sister Izzie Uncut is a prior Mr. Chicago Leather 2017 and a proud Chicago native who’s been actively involved in the local Leather and Kink Community for the past 17 years. He’s a self-described “volunteer-a-holic” who has 29 years under his belt with roughly 36 Chicagoland organizations including the Chicago Leather Community Outreach (prior Lead Volunteer Coordinator), the Leather Heart Foundation (prior Volunteer and Outreach Director), the Leather Archives and Museum (Current Volunteer Coordinator), Equality Illinois, and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and Served on the Vernita Gray Outreach Council for Howard Brown Health. He’s a proud associate member of ONYX Midwest/Chicago where he has served as co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee, and prior assistant pledge master. He is  an associate member of Blue Max St. Louis Leather Club. He has been awarded The 2020 Kurt Allen Community Service Award, the 2020 Leathertarian award for long standing work in the Leather Fetish community, the 2019 Pantheon of Leather Great Lakes Award, the 2018 Leatherfolk of Recovery Outstanding Service to the Leather Community Award, the 2018 Mr. Illinois Bear Community Service Award, and a nominee for the 2018 Pantheon of Leather Great Lakes Award. In addition, has been featured in the Chicago Reader, Chicago Sun-Times and WCIU, The U’s morning talk show The Jam where he was named a Real Chicagoan.

He has been honorably named a Saint by The Windy City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for outstanding service to the Leather/LGBTQ Communities.

Sister Izzie is proud to have represented Chicago’s Leather and Kink Community as MCL 2017 at IML39, and as a Judge and Tally master for various contests around the country. He continues his message of recognizing and shining light on volunteers who keep LGBTQ and community service organizations afloat and serving vulnerable populations. He believes volunteering is a form of activism.

  Sister Candle Wickes (she/they) is an Emeritus Sister from the Portland, Oregon house who was blessed to begin her Sister journey there, to continue their journey in Chicago, and has a yearning for you to know you are loved!  

Be that in baking brownies, participating in bingos, or dabbling in book clubs - the multi-faceted and fabulous nature of being human is what makes Candle feel glittery and gay, and she hopes that she can make you feel all glittery and gay as well! 

Sister Pearl E. Gates began her journey with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in Portland, Oregon, where she quickly became a vibrant force for activism, community engagement, and unapologetic joy. With a deep commitment to LGBTQ+ rights, HIV/AIDS advocacy, and fostering safe, affirming spaces, she used her signature wit, charm, and signature pearls to spread the Sisters’ message of love and inclusivity.

Now based in Chicago, Sister Pearl continues her mission, bringing the same spirit of service, irreverence, and fabulousness to the Windy City. Whether blessing events, raising funds for vital causes, or challenging stigma with humor and compassion, she remains a devoted nun on a mission—proving that wherever she goes, the gates to love, acceptance, and a little divine mischief are always open.

Guard Valentino Massacre joined the Second City Sisters in 2025, aiming to provide support and security for the Sisters and further his goals of mutual aid, community safety, and self protection, aiming to empower his fellow queers through exciting and joyful forms of education.

Based in Chicago since 2019, Valentino provides free self defense training to the local queer community, with an extensive background in martial arts, and has taught in Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Illinois. He is currently working with martial arts instructors in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs to provide education opportunities in queer-friendly spaces, seeking to bridge the gap between these two worlds.

Well, who’d a thunk it? It’s Sister Hooda Thunkett, the Midwest’s most fabulous flippity-jippet! Since being saved from her life of boringness and answering the call to join the Second City Sisters in the fall of 2024, Sister Hooda is ready to bring her joy, sass, and queer charm all around Chi-town!

The rumors are true. She’s done it all - and probably in heels! Whether it’s on stage, as an awarded theatre performer, singer, and trivia host; or offstage, as a fundraiser, teacher, arts administrator, and reality tv addict, she does it all with a wink, smile, and a whole lot of glitter! Hand her a cocktail and a karaoke mic, and she’ll be the happiest nun in town! Sister Hooda is queer and here to join her fellow diva nuns on a mission of serving the LGBTQIA+ community of Chicago and beyond. Hoodie Hoo!!

Guard-Pup Saw Demi is a punk rockin' pop diva, tail waggin' puppy dog, and transsexual menace here to serve their Sisters and their community with boundless love! 

As an EX-evangelical and current heathen, Saw has always felt called to the Sisterly mission of expiating stigmatic guilt from the hearts and minds of their LGBT siblings. 

But with the world becoming a scarier and angrier place, they finally succumbed to the undeniable need to pursue the SisterGuard path, in the hopes of promulgated some much-needed universal joy! 

You can catch Saw Demi moshing at a local show, holding a Sister's purse, or singing karaoke (probably with Sister Hooda), and if you do, say hi! They won't bite - unless you'll give them a treat for it

Once upon a time, there lived a gosling princess. This gosling princess honked and flew and grazed and shat wherever suited her, and she was free.  But there was also a wicked Puritan who was jealous of the princess’s freedom, and the Puritan warped and changed her, wrapping her in human flesh.  And the Puritan taught her shame.

 But as Lucy Gucy grew and looked around, she felt the unnaturalness of that shame.  Her time in her flock, even though she didn’t know how to return, had taught her the unbridled joy of being and that love is the language of connection. 

She desperately sought to dismantle the Puritan’s wicked spell—if not to once again fly, then to live a life without guilt, without shame, and to walk in joy and connection with others. 

When Lucy Gucy got a gander at the theydies painted white, she saw their freedom; she saw their community; and she saw their joyful service.  Her heart took flight, and she knew she had found her new gaggle.  

Sister Lucy Gucy chooses love, chooses openness and joy, and if occasionally she honks or grazes or shits in strange places, she hopes you’ll see past the flesh and see the heart of a silly goose learning to serve Joy and break puritanical spells.
